Custom Content Council

About

Founded in 1999, the Custom Content Council is the preeminent professional organization for custom content companies, both independent agencies and custom media divisions of the larger publishing companies. Our mission is to educate marketers on the value of custom media, provide best practices for custom media professionals, showcase our members work on the association web site, celebrate the industry through an annual Pearl Awards program and host of series of membership meetings for networking and to present dynamic speakers who share marketing trends, research and other advice that is meant to help better serve clients. The Custom Content Council has 90 members from the United States, Canada, the UK, Poland and Brazil. Each year we conduct 3-4 pieces of research that measure the size of the industry, expenditures, salaries, characteristics, measurement of digital vs. print, frequency, reasons why marketers turn to custom media and the impactful custom media has on its audiences – both consumer and b2b. In 2008, the Custom Content Council launched its own custom vehicle, Content, a four-color, 32 page magazine that is distributed to 32, 000 marketers, three times a year. Staying true to the gestalt of custom media, only our members’ work is featured in the magazine. Content carries a list of member companies in the form of a directory.
